The Profile tab (bottom right) is your home base. Think of this as your personal workspace. Every hashtag group you create and copy in the app will be saved here. There are three segments at the top—’Profile’, ‘Saved’, and ‘Recent’.
Here’s what they all mean:
‘Profile’ - any hashtag group you generate, edit, or handpick will be here, think any hashtag group you created
‘Saved’ - throughout the app, you’ll notice a bookmark-like icon (yellow) that you can tap to Save a group of hashtags. So you can look through Trending, Search and Save good hashtag groups you find for later.
‘Recent’ - any hashtag group you copy, whether your own in the Generate tab or ones that you found in the Search tab will be here. Recent stands for hashtag groups you Recently Copied.
The last bit of Profile that worth looking at is the stats at the top. As we mentioned, every hashtag group you create in the app will be public. We do this because we think you deserve credit for the hard work it took to create a well-thought-out group of hashtags. Your hashtags will appear in the Trending tab from time to time. These are the metrics we are tracking on them.
‘Hashtags’ - how many total hashtag groups you’ve created
‘Copies’ - how many total times your hashtag groups have been copied by all users
‘Saves’ - how many total times your hashtag groups have been saved by all other users
‘IG Views’ - this one is a bit interesting. You’ll notice in the ‘Trending’ tab that some users have their Instagram username attached to their Hashtag Groups. You can enable this by going to Settings > Edit Profile and adding your Instagram username. IG Views is the number of times that people have tapped your username on your hashtag group and thus viewed your Instagram profile. The point is you can get credit for creating useful groups of hashtags.
